comments: I remember reading a children's book in the mid-'70's that featured a street of cats that banded together to save their homes from demolition. The ring-leader cat's name was Pywacket, a rather beat-up street cat. The only reference I can find for a cat with that name is "Bell, Book and Candle" and that's not the story I'm after. Any help?
